Minecraft Birthday Party Details:
This is what Jennifer shared about the party- Jaime was introduced to Minecraft by his cousins. He started building simple Minecraft structure on his own in this called Minecraft-creative-world mobile app. I didnt like it at first but eventually we all found ourselves playing house-play, race-play, and adventure-play in this world. We would build Minecraft treehouse, houses, monster trucks, airplanes, rails, and even roller coaster! On a party theme, however, I still had my reservations. I was trying to influence him by watching Star Trek or Harry Potter. But this not so little one knew what he wanted to achieve in the negotiating table, and so this Minecraft themed party!
Minecraft Beauty
I love how Michelle and his Party Magic team put this altogether. Who would have thought that something like Minecraft would turn out to be this amazingly beautiful? – From the entrance made of diamond blocks with a Creeper and TNT, the photo area with the Zombie, the stage with all the Minecraft characters we are all familiar with and the hanging Minecraft blocks, to the dessert table which as Michelle describes it added a little more elegant aspect to the Minecraft theme. Jaime is very much involved in the party planning. He put together his Minecraft blocks and included Alex, Steve, and the pig and told me to take a photo of it as that will be his birthday cake design. Tazzy Cakes did a great job recreating that photo into Jaimes Minecraft birthday cake, as well as the diamond sword and TNT cookies. He also selected which designs we use for the invitation and all print selection made by Sygryd Fuentes of The Playground Ph.
Dessert Table
One of the most photographed is the Minecraft-themed dessert table with sweets from Cuppy Puppy Bakehouse. It included a chocolate cake of Minecraft Alex with blue armour and sword as requested by the little client; and sweet mix of cookies, cupcakes, oreos, cake pops, mini donuts and meringue tower. Make Believe Productions provided the party entertainment which included Minecraft themed games – TNT hunt, Choose your Ore, Pass the Creeper, Minecraft Walk Relay, and Minecraft Block Hop. They did an interactive storytelling about the Minecraft Knight. The best part of which is how Jaime enjoyed and actively participated. Yay! We ended the celebration showing a same-day-edit video from Lemon Three Films which captured all the fun we all had that day! And as always, the great photos were captured by Krissy and her team in Little People Photography. This set is my favourite!
