This spectacular INSTAGRAM THEMED JOINT BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Jennifer Bucheli of World of Pinatas . What a fun party theme! I love all of the Instagram logos and treat ideas used throughout it; from the Instagram pinata to the camera lenses made out of oreos. This party is so fun and would not only work for a birthday party, but for a girls night out or tween playdate as well.
The Instagram party ideas and elements that I like best from this fabulous birthday bash are:
The fabulous Instagram pinata The cute Instagram graham cracker treats The darling camera lenses made out of Oreos The Instagram crepe paper chandelier The fun Instagram rings The giant Instagram logo photo op and MORE!

Instagram Party Details: This is what Jennifer said about planning and styling the party- “We celebrated both of my Daughter’s birthdays in one party since their birthdays are 4 days apart. One turned 13 this year and the other turned 10 so it was a big year for both of them. They finally decided on having an Instagram party as they love to take and post photos, who doesn’t? We designed and created everything for this party in about 2 weeks since we waited so long picking a theme. I designed the invitation to look like the Instagram camera on the front and on the back like a photo posted to Instagram with all of the buttons and text just like on Instagram. My husband works in Pre-press so he printed the invitations at work and we mailed them in vellum envelopes so the camera showed through the front. I printed lots of instagram photos on our home printer and hung them from string in empty frames, and garlands in places to decorate the party. My husband also printed a 40″ x 40” Instagram camera as a photo backdrop and we purchased photo props such as glasses, mustaches and mini chalkboards on sticks from Michaels Craft Store and painted them and added hashtags to the mini chalkboards. I also printed a poster that said “If you Instagram use #amayafionaparty” so that we would be able to see the photos that everyone posted. Behind the cake/food table I hung garland and Instagram cameras with a huge #birthday hashtag. For the favors we purchased gable boxes at Target and printed Instagram cameras to adorn the fronts. We added mini cameras, mustaches, erasers, bubbles, rings (which we made by printing mini Instagram cameras on matte thick paper and sealing them with epoxy and gluing them on metal rings), bookmarks that my husband printed at work on vinyl/plastic, mini notebooks that we purchased in the Valentine section of Target and attached printed Instagram cameras to, also graham cracker Instagram cameras that we assembled with frosting, candy strips, and mini oreos and put into cellophane bags and tied with bakers twine and hashtag #instacookies. I made the pinata out of a square box using brown kraft paper cut into a large fringe and then decorated with tissue paper and festooning. We ordered the cake from our local Publix and had it decorated with fudge frosting and edged with the four primary Instagram colors and we added the camera and hashtags to the top as well as the “Happy Birthday” candles. We also had coordinating cupcakes topped with Instagram camera toppers which we also printed at home. We also made “camera lenses” out of large Oreo cookies with one side removed and a small Oreo on top. The kids had a blast, their friends all loved the theme and had a blast taking photos and tagging them. This was a fun and easy theme to put together.”
