This is what Kristen and Missy shared about the party- “Tis’ the season to to be jolly and this contemporary and chic Holly & Ivy Holiday dinner party has us feeling the holiday spirit! A palette of elegant crimson, silver and gold, mixed with hints of fresh evergreen trimmings and natural elements created the perfect combination of chic sophistication mixed with rustic holiday charm. The inspiration for this holiday dinner party was this chic and festive “Lovely Party Laurel Holiday” invitation we found on Shutterfly! We loved the mix of elegant golds and green and brought that into our color palette and decor. The dining table decor was made of fresh and artificial greenery, adorned with glittered and frosted pine cones, gold, silver and jewel crusted ornaments, sugared cranberries and glittering, champagne stems with lovely crystals. Our centerpiece was made up of a glittering, champagne colored reindeer flanked by two matching holiday trees.
Place Settings A Glow
Each guest had a gorgeous place setting beginning with rustic would centerpiece base, a burgundy charger plate, and matching white and gold snowflake embossed dinner and dessert plates. A place card was placed in an antique gold frame and adorned with cranberries and boxwood stems. We just love the personalized, stylish touch this added to the table! Gorgeous gold and silver flatware was placed on an elegant burgundy and champagne napkin. Each guest enjoyed a holiday inspired cranberry cocktail from lovely champagne flutes. Not only was this cocktail delicious, but it was the perfect color to match our dinner party theme!
Holiday Decor
Our guests just adored the bar cart and the holiday decor that accompanied it. Our burlap “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” signage is one of our favorite pieces. And how fabulous does it look next to our glittering holiday tree?! It was the perfect backdrop for our delicious pine cone and evergreen adorned cake. We just love the chic simplicity of this cake and enjoying it was a deliciously lovely way to end our holiday inspired evening. This Holly & Ivy Holiday Dinner party was full of classic holiday charm and the perfect way to celebrate the joy of the season!”
