How fun are these HALLOWEEN TWINKIE MUMMY POPS?! These adorable halloween treats were simple to make and turned out so cute! Follow my simple recipe + DIY tutorial below to create yummy mummies for your next Halloween party, event or celebration!
Halloween Mummies Recipe (made with Twinkies):
Items you will need: Twinkies White chocolate chips or white candy melts Sucker / Lollipop sticks (available in Kara’s Party Shop) Mini Chocolate Chips
Directions: 1.Take your twinkies and unwrap. Cut each twinkie into 4 even segments like shown below.
Melt your white chocolate chips or white candy melts in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second increments, stirring in-between, until soft.
Dip the end of a lollipop stick in the melted white chocolate as shown below.
Insert the lollipop stick into the top of one of the twinkie sections and let set.
Stick the twinkie pop into the bowl of melted white chocolate. Using a spoon, cover the twinkie segment completely with chocolate. Lift the pop and let the excess chocolate drip off.
Set the covered pop on parchment paper and insert two mini chocolate chips for eyes, then let dry. Repeat the same process until you have the desired amount of pops.
Take more melted white chocolate and spoon it into a small ziplock or plastic bag. Cut off a tiny portion of one of the corners of the bag.
Squeeze the white chocolate out of the corner of the bag onto the front of each of the hardened twinkie pops in messy lines, creating a mummy look, like shown below.
Let the chocolate harden.
