This is what Karen said about planning/styling this party- “This extravagant birthday party was centred around the 1920’s Great Gatsby Era and was created for a 30th birthday party. The setup was based around the theme and the colour scheme of black, white and gold. The cake, designed and created by Caking It Up, reflected the Art Deco style and featured elements such as pearls, brooches, patterns and textures. It was a great centrepiece to complement the theme of the party. All desserts were also created by Caking It Up and tied in nicely with the cake to create this decadent dessert table. I loved incorporating the use of metallic gold to add that extra opulence and to make the table shine”.
