“Some of my most cherished memories from my childhood are Halloween…Running up to each door anticipating the next handful of candy, looking at all the costumes of children in my neighborhood and being in awe at the super creative ones. Then lastly coming home to pour out your bag and see what kind of goods you got was just so exciting. Unfortunately this year we weren’t able to have that experience, but we couldn’t let 2020 be a complete wipe out, so we had to get a little creative with the party, so we played into the idea of being quarantined for the theme. My daughter is in a learning pod with 3 other children her age, so since these kids were already exposed to one another, we decided to throw a Halloween party for the 4 of them (plus my youngest daughter). The idea of creating this glamorous chic, but fun Halloween party came together easily. Once we had the table set up done, the other pieces fell into place. Kids played pass the parcel which was so adorable even with only 4 of them participating. They also wrapped one of us Mum’s as a mummy using toilet paper, it was a hysterical mess. We also laid out a craft table for them to create their own witch and top hats. Between those games and eating the most incredible sweets and cake the kids were burnt out.
