Girly Paw Patrol Birthday Party Details:
This is what Tanja shared about the party- “Lets take to the sky, this pups gotta fly!
Description:
I put this Paw Patrol Party together for a little girl named Ava who LOVES Paw Patrol. My starting point was Skye and I decided to make this character the focal point of the dessert table and use white, light pink and grey as the main colors along with the colour of the sky. Lara of L&V Sweets made the adorable Paw Patrol cookies that perfectly matched the colour scheme. And just look at those little puppy paw prints on the number four cookies.
Cake:
We went with a chocolate cake covered in white buttercream by Les Délices Lafrenaie Pointe-Claire. Added two of the Paw Patrol cookies to incorporate the birthday girls name and age. Made a ribbon out of soft pink fondant that I wrapped around the cake. I then added some white and pink sprinkles, a Skye figurine, and four white/pink candles on top. Voilà!
Custom elements:
Love incorporating the birthday childs name, initials, and age whenever I can without it being too in-your-face. This letter A was just perfect and I loved the extra touch of the light bulbs. I may or may not have overheard a few too many of the Paw Patrol episodes my kids have watched on TV. One catch phrase that has stuck with me is This pups gotta fly and so I was determined to have the pups fly on clouds across the dessert table which was a big hit with everyone. I found these Paw Patrol pups with capes that I just had to buy for the occasion at Walmart. Paw print confetti in pink and grey looked so cute on the barn wood. And how do you like the little patches of grass surrounded by white picket fence?
Characters:
Wanted to make sure to incorporate the other Paw Patrol characters as well so they all shared the lime light on the snack table. I painted lots of little wooden boxes bright red and blue and added some paper paw prints and some black and white ribbon. Wanted to add a bit of decoration to the big window above the snack table which went quite well with the pool in the backyard if I may say so myself! As for entertainment, the kids played some old school party games and had a blast”.
