Llama Party Details: This is what Elisa said about planning/styling the party- “Neves mama, Sarah, came to me and asked for help organizing her thoughts. She’s an artist herself – a photographer – but wasn’t sure what to do when it came to her daughter Neve’s birthday. She had gone to Peru while pregnant with Neve, and fell in love with the llamas there. We planned the whole party around a photograph Sarah took. We wanted the party to be loosely Mexican- and South American-themed, since Neve is half Mexican and her mom liked the idea of playing it up, so we designed the invitations around a llama silhouette wearing a sombrero and a piece of Peruvian fabric (which we used on the tables at the party). I made Mexican-inspired paper flowers and used pops of gold and lots of succulents to give the party an eclectic, modern feel. We held the party outside (hooray for San Diego winter!) and used gorgeous wooden tables and blankets from Pow Wow Vintage to give guests a variety of seating options to eat their Mexican feast”!
