This is what Lori said about styling the party- “I love hosting an outdoor movie night as much as I love hosting a girl’s night out! Summer is the perfect time to combine the two and have a “flamingle” followed by a movie under the stars. This girly inspired party combines shades of pink with bold, black stripes for a fun color scheme and easy accents! You can have so much fun with little details like straw flags, tags, and labels to tie the treat tables into the theme! I also used ribbons to add “stripes” to table runners and around ice buckets. A really fun and whimsical centerpiece was created with a trio of tins to hold floating arrangements in drink floats! The beverage cart was stocked with wine, sodas, and sparkling waters and was highlighted with a party backdrop which was the inspiration for the entire setup! Dessert tables included mini brownies and a s’mores fixing station and a table filled with movie munchies in grab-and-go containers! Waffle cones we re dipped in chocolate and pink sprinkles to make some whimsical and edible containers for the muddy buddy mix! Floor cushions stacked in bins were available for comfy movie viewing of the Rock Hudson & Dorris Day film “Pillow Talk”! An oversized, canvas drop cloth made an inexpensive “area rug” to spread on the ground so guests could snuggle up with piles of pillows and snacks in hand! A really fun and memorable evening with gal-pals!”
