Flamingo Party Details: This is what Carla said about planning/styling the party- “My daughter Alana has been obsessed with flamingos for a while (it has to do with the fact that they are pink) so when we decided to celebrate her 4th birthday I knew flamingos had to be the theme. Alana is a girly girl who loves color, nature and simple pleasures. That’s why I wanted a cheerful laidback garden party that was full of pretty details. The palette of colors that we chose was inspired by our favorite colors: pink (hers), yellow (mine), turquoise (our neighbor’s @claucandychic who also styled the birthday table). Alana wanted real flamingos but when I explained to her that it wasn’t possible she had some very special requests. She said, “mommy I want”:
- Flamingo cookies.
- Pili, her favorite stuffed animal, to be part of the decoration (in the pictures).
- Flamingo balloons.
- A four level cake (because she was turning 4, obviously).
- A flamingo piñata The teepee and gardening stations went great with the Flamingo theme and the garden party style and were some of the kid’s favorite. All the guests commented on what a happy vibe the party had. It was definitely a success.”
