First Launch Space Birthday Party
This is what Victoria said about planning/styling the party:
“I began dreaming up an outer space party when Lennon was 2 months old. As I held him and watched him sleep, I found myself thinking about ideas for stir sticks in the cups on his first birthday. I am a sucker for details and it was extremely important to me that every detail be thought out.
Venue & Preparation:
Naturally, when I found Little Play Society, I knew it was the perfect venue since it fit the aesthetic perfectly and included an activity space for the kids. Throughout the year, I gathered inspiration from Pinterest and Instagram. When I stumbled upon a party that Malisa @creativeamme did for her daughter, I was so inspired to create Lennon’s face trace with his infamous smile. Lennon is the happiest kid, so the trace of his smile depicted that perfectly.
Party Elements:
Lennon’s launch party was out of this world, and the details were really the heart of it all. I tried to keep everything in the same blue and yellow color palette. Even the florist absolutely stunned with her coordinating beautiful yet boyish arrangements. Furthermore, elements like the balloon jet packs, star and rocket shaped sandwiches, and Saturn shaped stir sticks made it all into an outer space dream. Also, there were Beat Buds to entertain the kids with music and instruments. The kids were so happy. We added a coffee cart and churro cart for the adults, which were so well received. The churro sleeves had stamps of Lennon’s face and the coffee sleeves were customized to read Lennon’s First Launch. Lennon’s First Launch party was truly a labor of love.
