This is what Holly shared about the event- “This was the most amazing styled shoot to be a part of! As I strive to live a more zero waste and sustainable lifestyle, I struggled with the idea of curating a styled shoot, only to have it all go to waste. When The Nursery by Southwinds approached me to do a styled shoot in their greenhouse, I had the idea to pair it with someone in need of a small event! Why let the beautiful blooms go to waste and when someone deserving could enjoy the space after it was all set up.
Delightful Celebration
We found the most deserving mom to be who was able to enjoy the space with her 16 closest friends for her a baby sprinkle to welcome her second. She has gone through many health challenges with her first son, along with pregnancy challenges in both pregnancies and no one else could be more deserving of this shoot. Having a small wedding reception at home, she said she has never seen anything like this. The look on her face was one of the best feelings I’ve heard as an event planner. She could not have been more appreciative and stunned by the creativity of our vendor team.
Landscape Details
To further curate the shoot/shower for her personality, you need to know that she’s a landscape designer and very much into the high vibes. Since she’s a landscape designer we created a DIY succulent station as a favor for all guests. To keep the vibes high we used sage to cleanse each guest upon arrival. They were also gifted with palo santo to cleanse their energy when Anna goes into labor as well. Also unique, was that the stationery was printed on plantable seed stationery to further reduce the waste on the environment.
