Elephant + Hot Air Balloon Baby Shower Details:This is what Trixy said about planning the shower- “This Baby Shower was designed for Baby G who is on its way. We combined elements of baby elephants, hot air balloons and using gray, kraft, navy, and light blue as color to put this simple, but adorable shower together. We didnt want to go over the top with hot air balloons or baby elephants, but instead used the elements lightly on the décor to bring this theme to life. The dessert table was my favorite to put together with the beautiful cake as the centerpiece. The cake details are so perfect for the theme. The ruffles on the first tier remind me of baby elephant ears! Chickadee Hill Cakes was spot on with this design. Some of our DIY projects included the pom poms we used around the room. Again the pom poms reminded me of baby elephant ears. We used kraft chinese take out boxes to make the hot air balloon baskets where the baby elephants sat. Large oversized baskets were used as our larger hot air balloons that also doubled as where guests sprinkled Baby G with presents”.
