Elephant Baby Shower
This is what Danisa shared about styling the party-
It was a pleasure working with my stunning mom-to-be, Tanya, who was so lovely and easygoing. Tanya’s simple brief was elephant detail. She want to do it in honor of her late mom, a teacher who loved elephants. Tanya wanted hues of blue and was happy for me to add another colour scheme like the pastel green and emerald green accent to complete the look.
Beside the elephant, I knew I want to incorporate details that were not only pretty, but that represented Tanya and her family. So I asked Tanya for an anecdote of her Mom. Of course, they were hundreds, but this one in particular was known to the whole family and their friends. Her Mom always told her students “Stop, look & listen,” so it became a family joke (saying). I incorporated mini place cards with this phrase as part of table setting décor. Because mom’s love will always be present even when it is not physical. Tanya reaction was priceless and that was the whole point.
