This is what Jacqui shared about the party- “My sister was never the type to make a big deal about her birthday but all while growing up, she always made sure I had the prettiest birthday parties on the block. So when she turned 40 this year, I wanted to return the favor and couldn’t let her shy away from a worthy celebration. A big production wasn’t her style so I planned an intimate candlelit dinner in her beautiful Newport Beach backyard. I made glitter glittery headpieces for the gals who all wore white while the men were dressed to the nines in black and bow ties. The long table draped in soft neutrals with beautiful agate place cards written by Seniman Calligraphy popped against the lush greens of her backyard. We enjoyed music, craft cocktails, and appetizers before sitting down to an amazing four course fine dining by the talented Daniel Sutcliff of Your Sous Chef. It was just a small token to all the wonderful birthday memories she made for me as a kid but that night , it was everything to laugh, reminisce, and shed a few happy tears in the glow of candlelight.”
