Maryam Alnasiri of Maryam’s Cakery out of Surprise, Arizona USA sent in this Elegant Baby Lion Birthday Party and its adorable details have got me smiling from ear to ear! Its soft mint and white color palette accented with elegant gold is simply divine! And the custom sweets…to die for! Trust me when I say you won’t be able to get enough of this darling fête! Every little detail in this sweet first birthday bash is completely adorable, but here is a list of some of my absolute favorites:

Elegant Baby Lion Party Details: This is what Maryam said about planning/styling the party- “I’m so excited to share with you all today my son’s first birthday cake & desert table. It took me about a month of preparation, from collecting the ideas to buying all the stuff; some were online and some from the craft stores. The nice thing about doing your own kids birthdays is you get to do it in your own taste, so I chose the Lion theme for him, but decided not to go with the usual jungle decor that goes with it most of the time. With that said, I kept searching for color inspiration through my preferred search engine (Pinterest) and after a full week of thinking and browsing, I saw a picture and I was like “YES! THIS IS IT”… Mint green , gold , white … such a gorgeous color combination and great for a 1st year old baby. The desert table features : 1- The main cake : I chose an elegant design that could easily be made for an adult and then added the twist to suit a baby’s birthday, which is the baby lion figurines all over the cake. 2- The ombre desert cups featured delicious white chocolate mousse topped with gold balls (caramel filled chocolate ball) pre wrapped in gold foil. 3- The chocolate favors were delicious milk chocolate bars wrapped in gold foil and wrapped a second time with a printed personalized label in shiny gold text, which featured the birthday boy’s name and the mint green label with the pattern coordinating with the wall backdrop. 4- The mini cupcakes frosted in mint green were filled with caramel filling and topped with personalized flags in gold text; they were absolutely adorable. 5-Lion head cake pops was delicious chocolate cake balls painted in gold and decorated with fondant. 6- The glass dessert jars were filled with marshmallows and some with meringue cookies.” More 1st birthday celebrations here: Sunny 1st Birthday Party Football 1st Birthday Party
