This adorable DYLAN’S CANDY BAR THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Lisa Costin of A Charming Fête . What a darling party! This is what Lisa said about styling/planning the party- “This super-adorable candy-inspired 1st birthday (with a bit of a modern edge) was called Gavins Candy Bar as the amazing cake was an inspiration from Dylans Candy Bar in NYC. We handmade giant tissue paper swirl lollipops, giant barber pole hard candy sticks made using washi tape, hand-painted kraft paper candy/sprinkle runners and created bright, fun floral centerpieces with candy coated vessels. We created a colorful candy table with custom candy shaped sugar cookies. We used giant 36 paddle balloons as the backdrop. Gavins smash cake was a simple yet delicious sprinkle covered confection.
