DIY Nautical 1st Birthday Party Details:
This is what Mariel shared about styling the party- “My baby boy was turning 1 and celebrating it with a nice party was also my cool-party kind of mom debut so it had to be perfect. I chose the nautical theme and decided to do it all in this palette: navy blue, white, yellow and anchors everywhere. A delicious naked carrot cake topped the candy table which included: boat-like brownies, worm gummies, popcorn, chocolate and other treats.
Anchor Craft and More
An anchor made with string art complemented the candy table. It was a great craft as it perfectly summarized the year Id passed as a new mom: I had a couple blows but at the end it exceeded my expectations. I also included a garland made of 12 pictures, one per each month of life and was great to remember how he looked just months before. The favors were handmade boxes with and anchor and a thank you message filled up with chocolate for everybody to take home. These are the details. It was a magical day that will stay in our hearts forever.”
