It’s that time again! Today I’m sharing the September project I made for Michaels, a decorative fall FLORAL FRAME WALL + DOOR HANGING! With fall just around the corner I decided to make something autumn inspired for my front door. I am loving the floral frame trend found especially in the print world (invitations, etc), and wanted to make a real life floral frame with fall inspired flowers and elements. Fall inspired floral frame initial wall hanging tutorial
Items used: Burlap covered canvas from Michaels Faux fall flowers from Michaels Fall inspired pumpkin elements from Michaels Last name letter initial from Michaels Glue Gun
Snip the stems off the flowers you want to use and lay them out on your canvas to get a visual (don’t attach anything yet) .
Using a hot glue gun, working from the bottom up, start gluing your flowers and fall inspired elements onto your canvas in a oval shape…
I made my flower frame symmetrical. I would mirror whatever flower or element I put on one side on the opposite.
- Continue to hot glue flowers and elements to your burlap canvas until you reach your desired look. 4. Hot glue your wooden initial in the center of your newly created floral frame.
And viola! You have a gorgeous rustic chic fall flower frame to hang on your front door, above your fireplace, above your dessert table, etc! The possibilities are endless!
