This is what Rachel said about planning the party- “I couldn’t think of any better theme for my daughter Brooklyn’s 2nd birthday party than the wonderfully heartwarming Disney movie Up. She has seen the movie and each time exclaims “Ballooooo!” (balloons) when the start up menu appears. I hoped she would love and recognize the theme on her big day.
Included in the details were “My Adventure Book” favors, which were small notebooks bought from the Dollar Tree, with a short wooden “twig” colored pencil attached; A “My Adventure Book” guest book (for guests to write down adventures they wish for Brooklyn to have in the future); a Paradise Falls fund jar with chocolate coins inside; a doll house from Hobby Lobby, painted to look like the house from Up; the Up soundtrack, played off of an iPhone dock and hidden inside of the doll house; and a makeshift photo booth stand, including props to dress up like Carl or Russell, a painted and feathered Kevin, and a hand drawn Dug”.
