Frozen Party Details: This is what Emily said about planning/styling the party- “My daughter is obsessed with Disney’s Frozen and specifically Elsa. I am obsessed with doing everything on my own and on a budget, so this is the party we were able to create. The mantle has a fun tissue banner, ‘Let it go’ with small paper marquee letters, and a old crate made into a painted silhouette of Elsa. The cake table had an Elsa doll cake, snow wands made from tulle for the girls to dance with, cake pops, and cookies (my daughter insisted on icing). The gift bag table has lollipops with Elsa and Anna taped on the front, diy glitter lip gloss, a snowball surprise, which was a little gift wrapped in crepe paper to look like a snowball. There was also glittery play dough in a mason jar with goggly eyes and a foam carrot for a nose attached to the jar. As a thank you, we also had a heart full of blue candy with “Only an act of true friendship can thaw a frozen heart. Thanks for coming.” written around it. Girls arrived and walked through a snowstorm of helium balloons with snowflakes glued on them. The girls danced and sang, play a homemade game of ‘don’t eat Elsa’, pin the nose on Olaf, and made glittery snow globes. Shannon from Shannon Pratt Photography took the pictures.

Disney’s Frozen Party Details:This is what Daphne said about planning/styling the party- “We are crazy about this Frozen themed party which we designed for a little girl’s 6th birthday! Our designs were centered around the elements of the Frozen movie – the princesses, Olaf the snowman, snowflakes and icicles, and of course, the theme colors which were ice blue, silver and white. We are particularly proud of the grand backdrop featuring the princesses and not forgetting the Princess of the Day, the birthday girl! We wanted the backdrop to resemble Princess Elsa’s ice castle, so we used hanging mirrored decorations, fairy lights and printed snowflakes to create that magical effect. The candy buffet table was also decorated with twinkling fairy lights and snowflakes and had a wide range of goodies that were made to suit the theme. There were custom made lollipops, marshmallow kebabs, cupcakes with light blue frosting and beautiful toppers, customised chocolate bar wrappers and our very favourite, the cute mineral water bottles that resembled Olaf! Another favourite of ours are the party favors for the children. We designed them in the shape of icicles, which we then hung around the room at different heights to resemble real icicles”!

This is what Cris said about planning the party- “With the anticipation of the release of Disney’s new movie Frozen, we decided to host a Disney’s Frozen Party! Since the movie wasn’t out prior to our party, we watched the trailers that are available on Disney’s Frozen Official Site as well as online games to get to meet the characters. I wanted the dessert table to feel like you just entered the kingdom of Arendelle after the spell from Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. The backdrop was the focus of the dessert table. I covered two foam boards using an Iridescent Fringe Garland and added some snowflakes stings. The centerpiece of the table was made of white painted branches sprayed with fake snow. I added crystal candies to the branches to resemble icicles. As for the treats, the children enjoyed some ice cubes (mimi marshmallow), Frozen trees (iced ice cream cones), snowball (white gum balls), icicles (crystal candy), snowflakes (yogurt covered pretzels), Blizzard (smoothie) and some melted snow (water). And for crafts, children made they own paper snowflakes and played Disney’s Frozen Trivia after watching the trailer and learning a little more about the characters.
