Dinosaur Party Details:This is what Marisa said about styling/planning the party- ” My son is absolutely obsessed with Dinosaurs. He has been asking for a Dinosaur themed table for months so for his 5th birthday I simply had to do one for him! I really wanted it to be a fun Dinosaur theme, as dinosaurs can be quite confronting! However I still wanted the deep dark greenery of a forest, so luckily Carli from Dimpleprints was able to replicate exactly what I needed within all the printables! Little take home treat boxes for the children were filled with lollies and a toy dinosaur. The little mud pots were chocolate mousse with Oreos crumbled on top – and the fabulously sweet spoons were by Bespoke Party Products. The gorgeous cake was made by Ana, a friend of the family. It was a raised one tier chocolate mudcake with raspberries. The divine cookies were made by Emily from Short & Sweet Designs. The macs were of course made by the lovely Jho from It’s A Cake Thing. Photography was by the very talented Marie McDermid Photography”.

This is what Jhoanee said about planning the party- “My little Zachy LOVES dinosaurs and he already knew what he wanted for his party. Months before his birthday he kept reminding me that all he wants was a dinosaur cake. Of course, it had to be green too because that’s his most favourite colour. The actual dino is made from rice krispy treats and the egg is the cake. Zachy LOVED this cake! The table had to have a feel of prehistoria with the dino cake as the main feature. I made some lava cake pops, cookies that I stamped with one of my son’s dinosaur toys and bought some “dino” eggs (luckily that Easter was coming so the speckled chocolate eggs were getting sold already. I also had some real quail eggs). There were also dino “poo” and meringue bones. It was such a fun table to put together especially for my little Zach because he has such a fun personality.
