Dinomite Dinosaur Birthday Party
This is what Melissa shared about styling the party- “We had an absolute blast designing this adorable + modern dinosaur party for our dear friend Jackie the owner of Penelope Pots Floral and Design son August (Auggie). When creating the theme, we wanted to take a modern approach to your typical dinosaur party. We were inspired by Day Dream Societys dinosaur paper good collection. Our color palette was also drawn from these amazing paper goods- red, green, blue, yellow with pops of teal. We also incorporate black and white. Sabrina came up with the perfect pun for the birthday boy Auggie-saur and we used that throughout the party. The kids table was the place to be! The tables were decked out with textured greens, dinosaur figurines, custom signage, DIY placemats, awesome paper goods and cool dinosaur sipper cups. All the colorful rugs, pillows and poufs made the space extra cozy for kids and even the parents! Every party needs a balloon garland! We added some vinyl dinosaur feet prints to the balloons add a fun detail. Here at Golden Arrow, we love a good DIY project. So we made individual placemats out of plywood and stamped them with a fun pattern. We also created the wood blocks with dinosaur stencils. Lastly for the dessert table backdrop we cut out the circle from plywood and painted at a diagonal to give the circle a modern look. Jackie (Penelope Pots Floral and Design) used lush tropical greens to create the perfect backdrop for the dessert table. The texture greens and fun potted plants were the perfect addition to the kids tables.
