This fun CINCO DE MAYO PARTY…was submitted by LAURA’S little PARTY. I love all the festive colors and decor! Laura said- Nothing says Cinco de Mayo like a fun fiesta with friends! When you plan the menu for your Cinco de Mayo celebration, you can’t go wrong with tacos, chips, salsa, and my favorite… Margaritas! This year I came up with an easy way to entertain my friends, and still have a chance to mingle, without spending hours in the kitchen. Menu: I made the menu simple. Tacos {from Taco Bell} chips, salsa, margaritas, and festive cupcakes. Decor: Lots of sombreros! I made sure to include these fun & festive hats as part of my decor. A colorful serapi served as my backdrop, and I attached several tissue balls, and paper fans, together on a rope. This was an easy way to bring out lots of color. Fake cactus, and strung up chili peppers also helped achieve that fiesta vibe. I decorated my cupcakes with twine, and added a lime. I even put fake chili peppers on a few of them. To help display the cupcakes in a festive way, I put them inside of margarita glasses.
