‘Diagnosed with Down Syndrome, McKenzie is an amazing child that truly has love for the arts, Eiffel Towers, and poodles. With her new-found love of Paris, her parents knew a Parisian-themed party would be fitting for her 8th birthday. McKenzie’s Birthday Party was held at the Junior League of Memphis. With its immaculate marble, intricate stonework and columns, this historic building was the ideal location in bringing Paris to Memphis, TN. McKenzie’s mother was the designer of this event, transforming the venue to a Parisian chateau with organic balloons, fruitwood Chiavari chairs, and a 7ft. floral Eiffel Tower. The guests were welcomed with lunch including, croissant sandwiches, chicken tenders, fresh fruits and dips, and a dessert crepe station prior to art session. Art session was led by Kristina Shields with Painting on the Go. Friends painted pre-prepped canvases of the Eiffel Tower and Poodle. After their art session, all enjoyed a beautiful Eiffel Tower cake from MyMoniCakes. McKenzie truly had a “joyeux anniversaire.” ‘
