Carnival Themed Gender Reveal Party Details: This is what Kristal shared about the party- “On what seemed like the windiest day ever in the history of Texas, we celebrated the gender reveal of our little peanut! Instead of the traditional pink and blue, I decided to throw a Whats Under the Big Top carnival theme gender reveal party, with accent colors of red and teal. As friends and family arrived, we asked them to cast their votes- are we having a little lady or gentleman? We wanted to make sure our guests were well fed with fair-style food including empanadas on a stick, smoked chicken salad sandwiches, pickles, nachos, and sweet potato fries. I used a red and white curtain to showcase the food table, and we purchased cute teal baskets, pickle bags, cardboard food trays, and red checkered tray liners to serve the food on. After all, its all about the presentation! I love using thoughtful details like this to convey the theme throughout the party. After eating, we quizzed the guests on what Doug, my husband, and I were like as babies, and then we all predicted our babys gender with old wives tales. Many of my friends already have kiddos, so we made sure we had fun lawn and carnival style games ready for them. Turns out the games were a hit with the kids at heart, too. Anytime we are able, we try to have prizes and giveaways at parties, to show our guests we appreciate them for taking time to celebrate with us. Since our little peanut was arriving soon, we decided to have a big bag of peanuts displayed for the guests to predict the quantity inside. The best guesser got to take the entire bag home! At the dessert station was carnival style cotton candy, Barnums Circus animal crackers, popcorn, rock candy, and other festive goodies. We used colorful tickets and vintage doors as the backdrop, and bright pennants throughout the party. For the reveal, we had cupcakes ready with cute little red bows and teal mustaches, and when we took a bite, we saw the RED filling! Our peanut was a little lady! A few months later, little Arden Rose was born. Weve been smitten ever since!” Peeks inside these parties to see more pink or blue inspiration: Elephant 3-Ring Circus Baby Shower Glamorous Floral Gender Reveal Party Love Kara’s Party Ideas?
