Car Party Details: This is what Melinda said about planning the party- “As much as I love working on little girls parties with all the pink and bling, there’s something extra special about little boys’ celebrations. In keeping it ‘simple’, I love coming up with ideas that are going to have an impact, like the hand-made ONE that looks like a road, to the ‘road’ themed food ideas. Sawyer, our birthday boy, loves all things automobiles and his mommy asked for little bits of Disney Cars, but she also made it clear she didn’t want a Cars themed party, so we included Mater, which happened to also be a cute bottle of bubble bath, and Mater made a guest appearance on the birthday cake. Because the majority of the guests were little we included some healthy food options, which the parents appreciated, like the little fruit cars, the fruit kebab traffic lights and traffic light jelly but we also know a party isn’t a party without some sweet treats, so the spare wheels (donuts), car cookies and car cake pops had to be included”.
