This is what Bev said about the party- “This year our beautiful country is celebrating its 150th birthday. What better way to celebrate than with friends with drinks on the patio and tasty patriotic treats! Check out this Canada day styled shoot that pays tribute to our home and native land. Instead of the usual red and white theme, I decided to go with a more natural take on Canada day by incorporating wooden signage, simple florals, and locally made desserts. Included in our spread was a beautiful mountainscape cake, simple cupcakes adorned with maple leaf toppers, sugar cookies, DIY strawberry timbit kabobs and homemade strawberry peach rosé sangria. Locally made mountain shelves and wooden décor were the perfect additions to our northern theme. These cheeky custom wine glasses added a touch of whimsy to our shoot. Lastly, we wore monochrome Canada themed shirts, which are versatile enough to wear any time of year”!
