“What little boy doesn’t like bugs? None that I know! This bug safari theme is one we couldn’t wait to get stuck into. In the venue, we set up the party at the client’s home located in the picturesque suburb of Glen Lorne in Harare, Zimbabwe. Cherise Pavlou, whose attention to detail is beyond anything I’ve ever seen, designed the gorgeous birthday cake! Similarly, the bug cupcakes, by Jasmine Kassim, were almost too gorgeous to eat – almost! Also, the variety of big cookies were baked and iced by the unbelievable talent of Pauline from Blushed Biscuits. Swoon Events Rentals supplied all of the table decor, including the safari hats and mini binoculars. Finally, Meri Meri was our first choice for all of the super cute party ware. For party favors, the perspex bug boxes were sourced and filled by the incredible talent of Konfetti Love from Pretoria, South Africa. As always, Judith Williams (my forever ‘go-to’ photographer) captured every detail to perfection!
