Khara’s party snippet- “I think every girl mom fantasizes a bit about what her daughter’s sixteenth birthday party will be like. For my daughter I envisioned a traditional venue with a DJ and dancing and lots of kids dressed up in fancy clothes. Well, my daughter had different plans. She wanted something backyard and low key but with a boho theme. After choosing a pink and gold color scheme and weeks of pinteresting for inspiration, I was finally able to bring her vision to life! Lots of textiles layered the ground of the floor seated dinner table. Cactus, succulents, and pink and white peonies lined the tables. After dinner, a henna tattoo artist set up and gave all of the kids a custom design. The night ended with smores by a bonfire.
