Marilyn Ambra’s Party Description- “Ive worked with the clients for several years, I did their sons bar mitzvah a few years ago. They are a super lovely couple who love to throw celebrations to share lifes special moments with their friends and families. We collaborate really well and its such a joy bringing their visions to life. They were both born during San Franciscos Summer of Love, so to mark their 50th Birthday, we used this theme. We created a San Francisco/Haight-Ashbury hippie party, complete with a psychedelic light show, daisy chains, body painting, lots of textures, colors, and fabrics, vintage lounges reminiscent of 60s San Francisco, and of course all the hit music of the 60s, featuring San Francisco artists like the Jefferson Airplane, and Janis Joplin. The explosion of colors of the overall palette, and the amazing tented lounges, which featured velvet Victorian sofas, Peacock rattan chairs, and Moroccan leather ottomans. The velvet dining chairs in vivid colors were also pretty great. The bubble dancer floating on the pool and body painted artist were also a big highlight. We had a great team of vendors who all made our collective vision come to life; The Lux Productions created a gorgeous psychedelic light show, Entire Productions provided our body painted artists, and bubble dancer. The clients were so great, they really got into the groove and together we had a blast creating their Summer of Love birthday celebration.
