Bohemian Baby Shower Details: This is what Devin said about designing/styling the party- “When my sister-in-law Christie asked me to plan and host her baby shower I knew just what theme to run with! Christie and her husband, Justin, love to travel and are both such down-to-earth individuals that I knew a relaxed Bohemian baby shower was just the ticket. When deciding on a color palette I was inspired by the bright pink and purple hues of color found in agates which we used throughout the shower in the decor, her cake, and even the beautiful invites. The shower took place in Five Crowns Restaurant’s greenhouse which complemented our theme wonderfully. We couldn’t have asked for more with greenhouse’s large windows, green foliage, and beautiful wood tables.We brought in several of my business rentals including a vintage baby bassinet to hold gifts and baby scale holding her cake. We hand made many pieces like her bohemian photo backdrop where Christie welcomed and took photos with each guest and the backdrop for the cake table. As guests arrived they first participated in our sign-in by writing messages to the baby on strips of fabric that matched the nursery, and I added them to the fabric garland that hung above the sign in table. The tables where everyone enjoyed brunch was decorated with lots of color from florals, vintage colored water glasses, our crochet doilie collection, and of course agates. Guests enjoyed brunch, a mimosa bar, games and watching Chrisite open the sweetest gifts.
