Blue & Gold Baby Shower Details: This is what Lysi shared about the event- “I was over the moon when I found out one of my closest friends, Sajda,was expecting a baby boy. I was even more excited when she asked me to design her baby shower. Her requested was for an outdoor shower, under a tent, using the color scheme light blue, gold, & white. We found a beautiful venue with historic roots at The Morris-Jumel Mansion. Upon arriving at the mansion, the guest would be directed to the main lawn where our tented-celebration was being held. Even though, I did the venue inspection in January, I was sure that once summer came it would be the perfect location. My initial design included an ombré backdrop for the dessert table but, when I came for the final site inspection and saw the sunken garden in full bloom, I knew that backdrop was history. The natural background of the mansion’s sunken garden was simply too gorgeous not to utilize. The dessert table itself was a simple arrangement of a few beautiful desserts and an amazing ombre ruffle cake in the center. The guests tables were adorned with white flowers and gold charger plates topped with a gift box favor. Everything came together nicely and Sajda was very happy with her baby shower, which made me happy too.”
