Aztec Party Details:This is what Julie said about planning/styling the party- “After attending Kara’s wonderful workshop in Brisbane and seeing her Aztec baby shower dessert table, I was inspired to use a dreamcatcher theme for my daughter’s birthday. Tahlia was turning 11 and is in her last year of primary school here in Australia. Next year, she and her friends are all going off to different high schools, so I wanted to have a theme where the girls could make something to remember each other by when they are not seeing each other as often, and thought that making dreamcatchers would be a nice touch. Tahlia loves all things Aztec patterned at the moment and the girls are all quite crafty, so that all fit in nicely! We went with the colour scheme of mint, peach and gold which was such a pretty combination, with natural timber, linen and my amber cake stands {I’d been bursting to use these}! Desserts included chocolate cupcakes, vanilla cake pops, salted caramel macarons, peach macarons, rafaellos, ferrero rochers and mini chocolate bars.
