AVIATOR PARTY DETAILS:
Here’s what Martie said about the party – “This year my son turned three, and I knew that I didnt want to do something predictable like Spiderman (who’s his favorite Superhero). I was in love with another party that used suitcases for favors and knew that I wanted to do an airplane theme for him. The printables I designed myself with fonts that are available free online as well as the chalkboard which proved to be more challenging than what I thought. I made airplane cookies with finger and waver biscuits, chocolate airplanes with edible glitter on them, marshmallow pops dipped in chocolate and sprinkles as well as patriotic strawberries to fit into the airmail theme colour. I knew that after watching so much food go to waste that I wanted to do just a dessert/sweets table for the kids. There were cardboard airplanes and small plastic airplanes to play with, toy sweet propeller guns and some bubbles to blow. The aviator hats were modeled after a similar pattern and adapted to fit the theme. I wanted to celebrate his first three years so I made ribbon strings with all his previous three years photos. I got Styrofoam letters and painted them red and dipped into glitter. For the party packs I got brown craft packs and printed out some stamp and airmail or holiday stickers. I used washi tape to tie into the whole airmail/airplane theme as well. I also used old boxes and spray painted them blue. I stuck wings and propellers on them. I ordered some airplane balloons as well online.”
