Ariana Grande Rock Star Party Details: This is what Laura said about planning the party- “My sweet teenager, is a huge fan of the super talented singer, Ariana Grande! In honor of her new album release, and tickets to her recent concert in Los Angeles, my daughter chose an Ariana-themed party for her 13th birthday! I used one of singer’s favorite colors to help set the fun party mood. Because we were also celebrating Ariana’s new record, I made sure to decorate with authentic records that I painted pink. I even made a couple cupcake stands from records to display the sweet cupcakes. I had sweet treats created with the singer in mind, and painted an old door to look like it was from her dressing room! Some quotes from the singer, and a yummy ice cream bar were all a big hit! I refurbished an old chandelier and hung it above the dessert table. The party guests had a blast taking pictures with props: boas, silly glasses, and mustaches & lips on sticks, from Divine functions. One of my daughter’s favorite Ariana Grande songs is ‘Pink champagne’. She thought it would be fun for all the guests to drink pink lemonade out of champagne glasses. I even printed out a line from the song, and put it in a painted frame next to the champagne glasses. The sweet treats were the perfect touch! She wears the crown made the beautiful fondant toppers, and the Ariana Grande cookies. Bella’s bakery & bowtique made musical note cake pops that I displayed inside of a suitcase with a pink record in the background. No teen party is complete without an ice cream bar! I painted a tiered cart with pink spray paint, and set out ice cream, cone bowls, and lots of fun toppings to add to their make-your-own sundaes. While wearing a beautiful birthday crown custom made by Shawna Brockmeier styled events, and a pretty pink tutu from Blue Bassinet, my birthday girl blew out her fabulous “13” candles from Made by a Princess. Each place setting had a record, bubble gum cups, and water bottles that were decorated with my pink record printables. It was such a fun day celebrating my daughter’s first party as a teenager!
