This is what Ashley shared about styling the party- “Our love is bringing people together and loving on them in our home. We truly want our guests to feel wanted, thought of and welcome. This All American BBQ is a classic theme that captures many celebrations throughout the year including labor day coming up. Its patriotic done right with a sweet & clean look and hints of modern embellishments. We wanted to mix traditional pieces with current trends: American flags with succulents, classic American quotes in clean gold frames, marble platers with blue gingham paper cups. These simple details made for a refreshing take on red white and blue. Our signature drink was a vodka mint lemonade with fresh blueberries. You can find the recipe here: It is light and refreshing. Plus, it looks darling. To get those guests a mingling, we had a couples “Bags Tournament.” We love an organized game, especially one that gets the adults hooked. We made a bracket to make it even more official. And to top off the atmosphere, a live band played songs for all ages to enjoy. The dessert table was placed on a white bead board backdrop with a weathered American flag as the focal point. The white picket fence made it all the more dreamy.
