A Day in Paris Birthday Party
A Day in Paris Party Details:
This is what Natalie shared about the party- “I loved working with the McNulty family, so lovely and engaged. I hope you enjoy pictures of their beautiful day. Abrielle parents honeymooned in Paris, very romantic! So they wanted to take their guests for A Day in Paris, a city close to both of their hearts, to celebrate her very first birthday I went with a soft and a very feminine Parisian look, with whimsical floral details and ballerina pinks to keep things light, young and fun. I used black as the accent and spray painted the large and the mini Kate Aspen Eiffel towers black. Using hatboxes as elevation on the dessert table.
Party Details
For this party it was all about the details, Abrielles mom loves mini versions of things and the smaller elements that capture her eye and heart. I had great pleasure including things like a mini cake stand just for the birthday girl, complete with mini macaroons & cookies. I also found some gorgeous mini vintage ornate frames that after placing Abrielles picture in I used as favor tags on ribbon. The cake by The cake shop was so fun as it had a 360 degrees view, you could swivel in any direction and be faced with an enchanting Parisian theme. Desserts were served at eh Patisserie; macaroons, cake pops, cookies, mini cupcakes, gourmet apples and sugarfina sweets. French pasteries, home cured meats authentic spreads etc. from Bar Tartine and Café Marla were served at Abrielles Café.
Graphic and Printables
The graphic printables by Elena included Parisian landmarks and cityscapes that had been hand drawn and turned into graphics. They simply blew me away, as they truly captured the artistry of Paris. She also created a name logo/monogram for Abrielle that I wove throughout the design and was able to have contour cut for the backdrop. This was five foot long! but well worth the effort. To entertain the children I created a mini farmers market (or mache) with fake fruit and a cash register, we also had a mini flower market with little bouquets that guests were able to take home with their half size bottles of bubbly.
Photo Booth
The photo booth drew inspiration from postcards of Paris, with 4 custom postcards hung and surrounded by gorgeous paper flowers by Blossom Papers. I found a fantastic 5ft wire Eiffel tower that Susan from Bloomin Couture wove with roses and vines as well as a very detailed replica of the Arc du Triomphe! A bike basket with flowers, champagne & baguettes was also included. Finally vintage postcards were given to guests to write a keepsake message for Abrielle to read when she is older.”
