Sarah’s party description- “Those classic 50’s American diners, decorated with such well-loved and popular memorabilia of simpler and more soulful times, give a different kind of warmth and flavor for customers. Such a fitting theme for our celebrant and her family who always play it cool and soulful. Theirs is a fun-loving family who never fails to throw unique and delightful parties. We can say this from our heart as this is already the fourth event we styled for them and every time, we can’t help but be pleasantly surprised by their choice of themes and how this theme is personified by them through their thematic costumes! Like everyone’s beloved and nostalgic diner, their parties are always a place to be, indeed! Theme: Although the diner theme is not as popular as other kiddie party themes (e.g. Princess, Tea Party, etc.), we still wanted to differentiate it from the other events with the same theme. We did this by focusing on pastel colors, instead of the reds and blues which are commonly used colors in a diner setting. Also, like the chill and relaxing feel of a diner, we styled this party in such a way that nothing’s over the top. The DIYs we came up with made this party heartfelt. Check out those little details in the centerpieces.
