10 & Oh So Bubbly Party Details: This is what Jenn said about planning/styling the party- “Definition of Champagne Birthday: Turning the same age of the day your birthday falls on. 10 on the 10th. All the rage with the kids seems to be when is YOUR champagne birthday? Well it just so happens that my daughters champagne birthday was on October 10th, 2014. She turned 10 on the 10th. Added bonus to her champagne birthday is it was also the 10th month and she entered her double digits! Anyone who knows Gracie knows she is full of life and sparkle! She is a tiny package of happiness and energy and it is contagious! She is always bubbly which is part of why we arrived at the theme of this party. Now how do you make it a kid friendly but super fun champagne birthday party. By Invitation Only Designs focussed on the bubbly part. We went with champagne colours, golds, blacks, and added a pop of turquoise. By Invitation Only Designs used round as our focus shape and made everything whimsical and glittery. Paper stock was shimmery and glittery. By Invitation Only Designs hand glittered some elements to make them extra special on the invitation and chair banner. We let the girls have some sparkling apple juice to make them feel extra special. But our focus was on how bubbly Gracies personality is. Everything came together perfectly. We had the girls dress in the colours of the theme. Gracie put her personality into her outfit to match perfectly. The sweets table was set up with a vintage feel using glassware and other pieces from Southern Charm Vintage Rentals. The sweets were done by 2 Sweeties and the cake and cupcakes were from Cakes and Cupcakes for you. I wanted the cake to be tall, round, gold, fluffy and whimsical. Topped with a topper that said Ten and fabulous it was the perfect centerpiece to the table. We filled the beautiful vintage candy dishes with matching candies and chocolates. Used vintage cupcake stands to hold the cupcakes that were iced in turquoise and gold icing. Candy apples were placed around the table with whimsical drizzled gold and turquoise icing and crunchy flecks of caramel. The cookies and cake pops were decorated with whimsical fun icing and sprinkles of caramel and molded gold roses. Varying sizes of hand punched shimmery and glittery stock in the theme colours were place around the table to give the bubbly effect. By Invitation Only Designs hand made a ribbon bunting to use as décor above the table and as one of the large balloon strings. A black and white photo of the birthday girl was framed in a round vintage gold and detailed frame, a pretty flowing black ribbon was added to highlight the framed photo and add an extra touch of vintage. A happy 10th birthday banner was hand punched in varying sized circles with shimmery stock and placed rising up from the table as though they were bubbles. We set everything up on a glass top round table to give the illusion of bubbles, a transparent effect. The vibrant turquoise wall was the perfect backdrop to highlight the sweet table. We used balloons to represent more bubbles with the girls at the park having fun and celebrating the birthday girls champagne birthday. Gracie got an oversized big round gold balloon tied with the hand made ribbon bunting to have some fun with. We decorated a vintage turquoise chair with a birthday chair banner, hand glittered and round to match once again the bubbly personality of the birthday girl! And finally every bubbly moment was captured by the amazingly talented Simply Lace Photography.
