This is what Kristi shared about the party- “After waiting nearly 4 years to adopt their newborn daughter I realized that adoptive parents want the same opportunities to celebrate their little ones that birth parents have and I decided to throw my friends an adoption celebration. It was a special day that many were waiting for. Because the adoption could fall through at any moment the adoptive parents didn’t want to celebrate until after the adoption was finalized.”
