This is what Tracy shared about the party- “On this fun evening, we wanted to bring all of these ladies together and have a reviving moment because, seriously, Mommying is hard. It’s intense and messy and busy and loud and sometimes we just need a moment to pause and sift through all the crazy and find yourself again. Because that’s just it: Mom’s lose themselves. Sometimes those moments when you feel so lost, when you’re surrounded by little people yet feel so lonely, and when you are so busy yet so bored, you just need someone to find you and see you again. You need someone to see the pretty and the smart and the funny that you have inside of you that has never left. And while we had the party to breathe some life back into us, we also had it to be the seen again because that’s what girlfriends do: the best of them are mirrors that reflect back to us what we can’t see when we’re in the thick of things.
