This is what Carolina shared about the party- I am extremely happy to be here sharing my work! This post is all about a Baby Shower that I got to style at Hotel Van Zandt. The style for this shower was very elegant and delicate, using gold, mint and coral as the main colors. For this particular event I styled the welcome table, the dessert table and I made some hand-made place cards for the tables. I used a glittery mint colored linen with a coral colored runner. Also, I added a vintage baby chair, a vintage baby girl dress and some cute little gold shoes. I also added an adorable little tray with some handmade tags for the guests to write their best wishes to the baby.
Dessert Details
On the Dessert table I used a beautiful curly ribbon linen in gold that was for sure the center of attention. The table was set up in the middle of the room, so a backdrop was not an option for me. I decided to use a big chalkboard instead. While doing my vintage shopping around Austin, I spied the perfect frame for the chalkboard! It was all gold with mint colored accents. I was truly so lucky! Love is Sweet was the perfect quote for this table. On the dessert table there was a beautiful cake made my Sweet Treet Austin, and the rest was candy. M&Ms, cotton candy, rock candy sticks were some among other choices. For the place cards, I used mint and black cardstock, I textured the paper with a dotted pattern and wrote the guests name. I also added a cute fabric flower in coral color. Hope you guys liked this Baby shower as much as I liked styling!
